First Man (2018)

Plot Summary

After years of training and several test flights, american astronaut Neil Armstrong becomes the first human being to set foot on the Moon, in an unprecedented NASA mission. The film recounts the events of that space race, in the context of the rivalry between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. A remarkable biopic directed by Damien Chazelle and starring Ryan Gosling, in a visually stunning and impressive film with an adventurous spirit and plenty of emotion.
