Storyline:  During the 4th century AD, astronomer and philosopher Hypatia teaches her scientific beliefs to her male students, many of whom make amorous advances that she rejects. The context is difficult, as a battle breaks out between christians and pagans in the streets of Alexandria, which is soon devastated by war. This spectacular film by Alejandro Amenábar delivers drama, romance and adventure through complex characters. If you haven't seen this epic film yet, don't hesitate to do so!
