Storyline:  Directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, this film explores the complexities of family relationships through the reunion of an estranged family. Siblings Ryota and Chinami return to their parents' home with their families to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Junpei, the eldest son, who died in an accident twelve years earlier. The childhood home remains largely intact, as do the grief and unresolved tensions, which remain latent.
