Storyline:  Adoration follows Simon, a Toronto high school student raised by his uncle after his parents’ death. For a French assignment, he reimagines a news story of attempted terrorism as his own family history, claiming his father was the would-be bomber and his mother the victim. His story spreads online, blurring truth and fiction, and forcing Simon, his teacher, and his uncle to face their pasts.
