Storyline:  Mary is a lonely 8-year-old girl living in Australia. One day she decides to pick a random American person from the phone book and sends a letter to him. Thus begins a 20-year friendship with an obese middle-aged man who has Asperger's Syndrome. This compelling stop-motion film is equally touching and melancholic.
