The Proposal (2009)
Plot Summary
Margaret, an influential New York publisher, has an unexpected problem with her US visa and is deported to Canada, her native country. Feeling powerless over the situation, she invents a fictitious engagement with her assistant, Andrew, who imposes his own conditions to agree to the charade. A traditional romantic comedy with a fine chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, plus the inclusion of Betty White's character gets some of the funniest moments in this story.
