The Descendants (2011)

The film tells the story of Matt King, a landowner living in Hawaii whose life takes an unexpected turn when his wife falls into a coma after an accident. While dealing with the possibility of letting her go, Matt learns that his wife was unfaithful. Although determined to strengthen his relationship with his two daughters, this revelation creates many contradictions. A moving story about the loving complexities of marriage and the loss of a loved one, with great performances by George Clooney and Shailene Woodley.
