Storyline:  Lars, an awkward and shy young man, introduces his family to the girl of his dreams, but she is rather unusual in that she is not real: she is a sex doll ordered over the Internet. Despite the unconventional situation, with the help of a compassionate doctor, his family rallies around him, to support the kind-hearted young man they have always cherished. With a stellar cast that includes Ryan Gosling, Paul Schneider and Emily Mortimer, this film promises laughs, warmth and a touching exploration of acceptance and love.
