Storyline:  The film, based on a true story, focuses on teenager Michael Oher, who is embraced by Leigh Anne Tuohy and her family, which will mark his life forever. Thanks to the loving support of his new family, Michael discovers his talent for football while confronting painful memories from his past. He also breaks stereotypes and proves his worth on and off the playing field. The film was a commercial success and Sandra Bullock's performance as the protagonist's mother won her every industry award, including the Oscar.
