Storyline:  Set in the final months before Israel’s 2000 withdrawal from Lebanon, Beaufort follows young commander Liraz and his unit stationed at a historic mountaintop fortress. With no visible enemy, only the constant threat of aerial attacks, the soldiers face the psychological toll of defending — and ultimately demolishing — the outpost that has defined their mission and cost so many lives.
