Storyline:  After Sonia gives birth to their son Jimmy, her partner Bruno shows little interest in fatherhood or steady work, surviving through petty crimes. When Sonia briefly leaves the baby in his care, Bruno shocks her by selling Jimmy to a black-market adoption agency. Stricken with guilt, he tries to get the child back, but restoring Sonia’s trust proves far more difficult.
