Storyline:  The Bennets were raised by a mother who wants them to marry to ensure themselves a good life. One of the eldest, Elizabeth, wishes for that life to be genuine and not whimsical. As the older sister, Jane, and the wealthy bachelor Mr. Bingley fall in love, a struggle to protect them ensues between Elizabeth and Bingley's friend, Mr. Darcy. Based on Jane Austen's novel, the film has ideal casting, a great period setting and a beautiful soundtrack that established it as a recent classic.
