Plot Summary

Maggie Fitzgerald is a waitress who wants to be a professional boxer. To achieve her goal, she seeks out veteran Frankie Dunn to train her. At first he refuses because she is a woman, but she finally manages to convince him. Maggie knows what she wants and needs someone who believes in her.
