Quarante H.P. (1919)

The Count of Clain loses his fortune over a woman, Luce de Lancret. She then becomes the mistress of Horace Playford, the man responsible for his ruin. Playford and Luce plot to have Clain committed in an institution. He escapes and becomes a chauffeur. One night, Luce and Playford rent a car to go to Dieppe. Clain, their chauffeur, drive them to a terrible death.
