Storyline:  In the late ’80s, Kurdish electrician Ako is conscripted into the Iraqi army to fight in Basra against Iran. Assigned to escort a deceased soldier’s coffin home, he travels across the country with an Arab driver. During the journey, Ako devises a plan to desert the army and reunite his wife and son in Paris, risking everything for freedom and family.
