Storyline:  The Marquis de Coustine, an 18th century French diplomat, experiences a journey through time at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, walking through spaces and meeting personalities from over 200 years of russian history. This incredible russian production was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. A magnificent experimental film with a unique visual display, shot in a single take and appealing to ingenious narrative resources. Truly a must-see.
