There is one sex scene. Shots of the top half of the characters, so partial nudity. It's very obvious when the scene is coming, and it is short.

Several men are shot by firing squads throughout the film. These scenes are at night, so no blood is seen. A man then goes through and shoots the corpses to make sure they are dead.

The main character remembers his father shooting a fox in a trap. The fox struggles against the trap. The scene cuts away when the father shoots, so we don't see the fox die.

A character puts his gun to a prisoner's forehead and shoots (to prevent the others from torturing him first). The gunshot is not heard, and no blood is shown.

A man being arrested is hit in the back of the head with the butt of a rifle.

A soldier puts his gun in a prisoner's mouth to kill him.

A man on a beach, shot the night before, has blood on his shirt.

A character tries to commit suicide. The character picks up a sharp object by a bathtub. Soon after we see this character unconscious in red-tinted water. No self-harm is seen directly, and (minor SPOILER) the character survives.

Much profanity: joder (f***), puta used as an expletive (literally b****, but functions as f***), mierda (sh**), carajo (f***), coño as an expletive (functions as f***).

A soldiers says "Cago en Dios," use of an expletive with "God."

A doctor is addicted to morphine. After discussing this with a protagonist, we see the doctor roll up his sleeve. The scene ends before he takes the drug.

Seeing people be shot point blank is potentially disturbing, though the film avoids gore.
