Chicago (2002)

Plot Summary

Roxie Hart wants to be a star, but that dream is postponed when she kills her lover. In jail, she crosses paths with Velma Kelly, a vaudeville singer who killed her husband and her own sister. They both want the defence of Billy Flynn, a coveted lawyer who frivolizes crimes and manipulates the press. Based on the famous musical, it features dazzling choreography and excellent performances by its cast. Not only did the film revive the genre, it also won 6 Oscars, including best picture and supporting actress for Zeta-Jones.
