Forgive Me, My Love (1964)

It's been four exciting and passionate months since their chance encounter and their first words of adoration and devotion, and now, the young couple of Nikos, a wealthy surgeon, and Charoula, a poor secretary, are planning to get married. However, Nikos' arrogant father and owner of two medical clinics, Professor Christoforos, opposes their union, bent on destroying the innocent lovers' happiness, and to make matters worse, Stavros, Charoula's father, has already decided to marry her off to the honest bouzouki player and singer, Vagelis. Now, as weary Stavros suffers a stroke, Charoula's kind relative, Aunt Maria, is the only person who can right a wrong. Will the cruel doctor yield to Charoula and Nikos' true feelings, and give his consent?
