Storyline:  Lee Holloway, a woman who has recently left a psychiatric institution, gets a job as secretary to Edward Grey, a lawyer. At first it seems like a regular job: typing letters, filing documents and delivering coffee, but the relationship between Lee and Mr. Grey becomes a much more intimate one, exceeding the merely work-related. A critically acclaimed film that explores the sexual pulsions of its protagonists, with bold performances by Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader.
