The Royal Tenenbaums (2001)

The Tenenbaum children, Chas, Margot and Richie, were once models of youthful brilliance, but they fall into disillusionment after their father Royal abandons them. Twenty years later, Royal's reappearance, claiming to be terminally ill, coincides with his ex-wife Etheline's impending remarriage. Royal's return forces the family to reunite and attempt reconciliation after years of unresolved issues.
