Storyline:  Bucky and Lee are two Los Angeles cops in the 1940s investigating the brutal murder of Elizabeth Short, known as 'the Black Dahlia', a young woman who wished to become an actress. As the investigation unfolds, Bucky begins a relationship with Madeleine, a woman who turns out to be linked to the crime. When Lee disappears, Bucky enters an obsessive spiral from which he can hardly get out. Directed by Brian De Palma, the film is visually stunning, beautifully edited and features a stellar cast.
