Plot Summary

Agent 007 goes to Montenegro, where he must participate in a high-stakes poker game at the Casino Royale to bankrupt a notorious terrorist financier named Le Chiffre, and, of course, to gather valuable intelligence about his criminal network. With its intense action sequences, gripping storyline, and darker and more realistic tone, this movie delves into Bond's early days, revitalized the franchise, and redefined the character for a new generation of fans.

Bond and another man fight inside a truck on a runway, and the truck crashes through several cars and objects, and eventually explodes, though both men escape beforehand.

There's a brutal fight in a bathroom during the opening sequence, in which Bond fights with a man, and the two crash through several stalls. He continues violently beating the man, before drowning him in a bathroom sink. The man recovers later, and Bond turns and shoots him, though the man is never seen being shot.

Bond shoots a man directly in the chest. The man flips off his chair, and there is the sound of the bullet impacting his chest, although no blood.

A scene of torture, where Bond is sadistically beaten with a knotted rope. It is very heavily implied that the target is his genitals, and we hear very disturbing shouts of pain. At the end of the sequence, the main antagonist threatens to cut off his genitals but is interrupted by another assassin.

The implied torture death of a character, to which another character responds by turning away as if about to be sick. We see a close up of the dead character's face, and although no wounds are shown, her dead grey eyes staring into space could be disturbing.

A character is blown up by his own device offscreen. Camera lingers on him right until the final moment.

Bond gets into a brutal fight with two men in a stairwell, and it ends when the last character is choked to death by Bond, camera lingers on him as he dies slowly. We see his eyes bulging and his legs kicking as he struggles. One of the most disturbing Bond scenes.

There's a lengthy chase sequence on the beginning in which Bond chases a man through a construction site. Lots of property damage occurs, and Bond briefly fights the man on top of a crane. Bond chases him to an embassy, and fights several soldiers. Bond eventually shoots the man and a gas tank, causing a large explosion which harms other soldiers.
