Touching the Void (2003)

A man unzips his pants to urinate--we see the urine trickling under him, but that's it. A man washes himself off in his underwear.

We see a man break his leg and scream in pain and the man it really happened to explains exactly what happened in detail. He suffers througout the rest of the movie.

The entire movie is extremely intense and frightening--you're usually on edge wondering if something terrible will happen (and terrible things do happen). However, all three of the people in the real story appear throughout the film so their fate is somewhat obvious.
