Storyline:  In 1949, Clément Mathieu arrives at a strict boarding school for troubled boys in rural France. Rejecting the harsh discipline of the headmaster, he introduces music and forms a choir, gradually earning the trust of the students. His unconventional method especially transforms Pépinot, a lonely boy, and Morhange, a rebellious young man with great musical talent.
