Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring (2003)

In a floating temple on a secluded Korean lake, a Buddhist master raises a boy in wisdom and compassion. As the boy grows, he flees to the modern world, where he commits a crime. Returning to the temple in search of redemption, he endures harsh penance and spiritual trials, seeking enlightenment as seasons—and lifetimes—circle back.
