Storyline:  Major Bennett Marco vindicates the actions of Sergeant Raymond Shaw during an ambush in the Kuwaiti desert at the beginning of the Gulf War. Yet he has doubts about the sergeant's actions. When Shaw runs for U.S. vice president at the urging of his mother, Senator Eleanor Prentiss, Marco decides to do an investigation. This remake directed by Jonathan Demme is a political thriller with very strong performances and a satirical and at times disturbing tone.
