In the underground tunnel we see people with eyewounds, a brief overpan over a living, disemboweled soldier. An amputation is started. We hear writhering, screams and begging.
A woman drugs her six children and poisons them later. No blood, but intense.
A man shoots his wife and then himself offscreen. The bodies are doused with gasoline and set on fire. Later, two charred corpses are seen.

Many of the main characters shoot themselves and their wives, however this is either done offscreen, or when the camera pans away from the shooting. Shots are heard.
