Storyline:  Sophie Hatter, a humble hatmaker, is cursed into old womanhood by the jealous Witch of the Waste after an encounter with the mysterious wizard Howl. To break the spell, she joins Howl in his moving castle and sets off on a dangerous journey with magical companions as war looms over their kingdom. This film was directed by Hayao Miyazaki and was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 78th Academy Awards.
