Gertrudis Blues (2003)

Gertrudis Blues is a documentary evocation of Gertrudis Vázquez, a woman over 80 years old, known for her strength, her lucidity and her kindness. It depicts remembrances and remnants of cultural events that occurred lo9ng ago, but are still present in the spirit and in the memories of this natural matriarch of the Moscogo, an unique community with afro-mestizo roots, living in a village named El Nacimiento, in Múzquiz, Coahuila, México.
