The Body Human: The Magic Sense (1979)

Program focuses on medical treatments of various eye afflictions and injuries. Among the situations examined: An attempt to repair the torn retina of a 15-year-old who suffered a hockey injury; a man suffering from diabetic hemorrhages and cataracts has his eyesight restored by surgery; an infant with crossed eyes undergoes an operation to correct the problem; and a blind man is seen functioning through remembered sight.
