Cold Mountain (2003)

Set in the final days of the Civil War, the story revolves around Private Inman, who, being wounded, begins a journey back to Cold Mountain, North Carolina. There he hopes to reunite with Ada, his girlfriend. She tries to survive in his absence by refloating her father's farm, with the help of the willing Ruby. An emotional film with an epic and romantic story, with a great cast where Renée Zellweger won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
