Storyline:  John Q. Archibald is a blue-collar father whose ill son requires emergency surgery for a heart transplant. When his health insurance won't cover the emergency, John becomes desperate and barricades himself in the hospital, willing to do anything to keep his son alive. A gut-wrenching melodrama, compelling for its challenging theme and excellent cast, with Denzel Washington's moving performance as the standout. A story that moves to tears.
