Storyline:  In 1931 Western Australia, three Aboriginal girls—Molly, Daisy, and Grace—are taken from their families under a government assimilation policy. Sent to a distant settlement, they escape and begin a perilous journey home, following a long rabbit-proof fence. Pursued by authorities and a native tracker, their flight becomes a fight for freedom and survival against imposed control.
