Storyline: Bridget Jones lives her single life with anguish and records everything in her personal diary; she is demanding of herself, insecure about her physique and her love life is not going the way she would like it to. Bridget falls in love with Daniel Cleaver, her boss, although she also receives unexpected attention from Mark Darcy, a childhood neighbor. Based on the novel by Helen Fielding, the story is reminiscent of the novel Pride and Prejudice, and features an endearing Renée Zellwegger and Colin Firth, emulating Mr. Darcy from the BBC miniseries.
