Third of November 1918 (1965)

In November 1918, a number of Austrian-Hungarian officers - each representing one of the great Empire's nations - are trapped by snow in a convalescent facility in the Alps and miss the end of World War I. When the course of events finally dawns on them, each reacts very differently to this watershed event of history.
