Storyline:  In the remote Dolpo region of Nepal, aging chief Tinle refuses to pass leadership to Karma, his late son's friend, whom he blames for the death. Defying tradition, Karma departs early with a caravan of yaks to trade salt for grain. Determined to assert the old ways, Tinle organizes a rival caravan with elders, his grandson, his son's widow, and his younger son, a monk. As the two caravans traverse treacherous mountain paths, their conflict becomes a spiritual journey about legacy, leadership, and reconciliation under the unforgiving Himalayas.
