Storyline:  Mark Rutland marries Marnie Edgar, a compulsive thief with deep psychological scars, in an attempt to help her confront her troubled past. Marnie, using various aliases, has stolen large sums of money from several employers, including Mark’s own company. Though initially blackmailed into marriage after a theft, Mark seeks to understand the trauma behind her behavior. Uncovering painful memories from her childhood, Mark works to help her heal.
