Contempt (1963)

Directed by Jean-Luc Godard and starring Brigitte Bardot and Michel Piccoli, the film follows a producer who hires a screenwriter to revise The Odyssey. As the writer focuses on his work, his wife grows resentful, suspecting he is using her to gain favor with the producer.
