Storyline:  Diego, a leader of the Spanish Communist Party, is detained at the border during a trip to Paris, but manages to avoid arrest thanks to Nadine, daughter of the owner of the passport he is using. Arriving in Paris, he seeks out his companion Juan to prevent him from returning to Madrid, where Franco's police could arrest him.
