Psycho (1960)

Marion Crane is trapped in a relationship with her lover, Sam, whom she can’t marry due to his financial obligations. Trusted with $40,000 by her employer, she impulsively decides to steal the money and flee to to start a new life with Sam. She checks into the remote Bates Motel, run by the nervous Norman Bates, a young man overshadowed by his domineering mother. But Marion’s fateful decision leads her into a chilling nightmare.
