Storyline:  In 1927 Hollywood, silent film star Don Lockwood and his screen partner Lina Lamont struggle to transition to talkies. Don falls for aspiring actress Kathy Selden, who secretly dubs Lina’s shrill voice. As their latest film becomes a musical, Lina schemes to keep control, but Don, Kathy, and his friend Cosmo try to outsmart her.
