Storyline:  In 1909, Emiliano Zapata, a well-born yet impoverished Mestizo from Morelos, journeys to Mexico City to protest the seizure of local farmland. Confronting the corrupt rule of President Porfirio Díaz, he emerges as a revolutionary, fighting alongside his brother Eufemio and Pancho Villa to back Francisco Madero—only to continue the struggle when Madero’s government reveals its own corruption.
