Storyline:  Stranded in Boldon City after her carnival departs, dancer Lane Bellamy is helped by Deputy Fielding Carlisle, who finds her a job as a waitress. But their romance clashes with scheming Sheriff Titus Semple’s plans to groom Carlisle for state office. Seeing Lane as a threat to his ambitions, Semple drives her out of town—until she returns, intent on revenge and redemption.
