Storyline:  Jan-Erik Widgren, a high school student, falls in love with Berta, a troubled woman tormented by a cruel man she refuses to name. Unaware that her tormentor is his sadistic Latin teacher, Caligula, Jan-Erik becomes entangled in a dangerous web of manipulation and abuse that drives both him and Berta toward a devastating outcome.
