Storyline:  In a rural English hospital during World War II, a postman dies unexpectedly on the operating table. When a nurse claims to know who is responsible, Inspector Cockrill is called to investigate. Among the five medical staff present during the surgery, suspicion grows as evidence points in different directions—and four deadly pills have gone missing.
