Storyline:  To avoid being sent to jail, Bud and Lou enlist in the army, hoping for an easier way out. Their plans unravel when they discover that their drill instructor is the same tough cop who once tried to lock them up. What begins as punishment turns into a series of comic antics, as the pair constantly find ways to irritate their stern nemesis during basic training.
