Storyline:  Waldo and Irene have lived under Margit’s strict routine through four years of engagement. Irene refuses to marry someone so timid and claims she loves Charlie, a carefree artist living behind Spike’s Place. When Margit confronts him, Charlie realizes he’s drawn to her instead, and sets out to help Waldo gain confidence so the situation can settle for everyone.
