Storyline:  Dodge City, a lawless cattle town controlled by Jeff Surrett, becomes dangerous even for families. Wade Hatton, a former wagon master who brought the railroad, takes on the role of sheriff to restore order. While facing outlaws and corruption, he also contends with Abbie Irving, who resents him for killing her brother, adding personal conflict to his fight for justice.
