Storyline:  Mr. Morris hires ex-convicts at his department store, offering them a chance at reform. Among them are Joe Dennis and Helen Roberts, who marry despite her parole restrictions. Their modest happiness shatters when Joe learns she hid her past. Feeling betrayed, he returns to his old gang and plots a robbery against the very store that gave him work.
